Revisiting my First Tinkercad Model

Last weekend, I decided to revisit my first ever Tinkercad model by improving its textures and details in Rhino 6. When I made the initial model in January, I was just trying to create a simplified version of a Basilica facade. Since I did not have any expectations for this model at the time of its creation, it was very fascinating to see it come to life in Rhino.

Seeing the models evolution really made me appreciate the value of lighting--it made all the difference.

Of course, I also improved some of the structural and sculptural details by re-constructing them in Rhino. I also imported new religious sculptures from Thingiverse to make the facade decorations look more believable.
